'YouTube' remove videos following official complaint by Celtic League

This just published in Kernow:

Following complaints received regarding several videos posted on 'YouTube' which could be regarded as offensive to the Cornish National Minority, a formal complaint together with supporting material and UK Government and FCPNM references was sent to the Headquarters of 'YouTube' which is a subsidiary of Google LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, California 94066, United States.

Accordingly, the identified offending material has been removed from 'YouTube' and the following response received from 'YouTube Legal Support'.

Hello,

Thanks for sending us links to the UK Government Media Information regarding the Cornish people and to the Framework Convention.

We have removed all offending videos and upon further investigation, we found that many users content has already been removed from the site.

It may take some time for video search results and thumbnail images to disappear from the site but typically, this does not take more than a couple of days. Please be patient, as we assure you that the content has been removed.
