Far from being in the red four months into the financial year the IOM Health Service is as usual underfunded.

You pay NHI and taxes for a good health service but Alf Cannan and the Treasury consistently underfund it. The Health Service may show a notional deficit of three million this year going on these figures but at the same time Cannan and his cohorts have set aside £50 million plus in takeaways for the business sector. Indeed the system of funding the private sector with grants and tax breaks is so complex it's doubtful if any one in Alfs ivory tower knows just how much money is being squandered.

While the media focus on a one million alleged deficit in health the Treasury consistently fail to confront tax avoidance and the business expenses culture.

While Alf ensures the Chambers members can ride around in a gas guzzling limo with a ‘chelsea taxi’ on expenses for their missus the only thing you the taxpayer will end up riding is one of these trolleys in a hospital corridor. Say no to COMIN plans to eviscerate the NHS!
