Information from 'Yes Kernow'

A series of high visibility actions occurred across Kernow (Cornwall) today, Sunday 18th July, 2021 and targeting main junctions and the busiest roads, Cornish Patriots continued in sending out a clear message, notably that Cornwall could do far better free from Westminster's corrupt and dysfunctional rule.

At many places, the Cornish patriots were joined by their brothers and sisters from 'Yes Cymru' (Yes Wales) who are holidaying in the Duchy.

This represents the fourth occasion of direct and peaceful demonstration in support of Cornish rights and wherever actions occurred, words were said in memory of the late Craig Weatherhill, Cornish Bard, historian, author, architect and archaeologist, on this the first anniversary of his passing.

Cornish Patriots of all ages and from all backgrounds participated and further peaceful actions will be occurring in the weeks ahead timed and set for maximum visual impact particularly bearing in mind the huge number of tourists in Cornwall.

Today's actions were photographed on countless occasions by passing holiday makers and local motorists, both domestic and business, sounded their horns, shouted 'Kernow bys vyken!' (Cornwall Forever!) from their windows and waved clenched left fists in support.

'Yes Kernow' has no leaders and is formed up of Cornish people and their supporters from elsewhere acting together hoping for a better future for Cornwall.

'Yes Kernow' will co-operate with any group sharing similar objectives and all participants support 'All Under One Banner Kernow' which is part of the 'All Under One Banner' movement seen in Scotland, Wales and Brittany.

The 'too small' 'too poor' argument is not valid. Luxembourg is of a similar size to Cornwall, as is Malta, Andorra, Litchenstein, Iceland and dozens of other sovereign countries. The Isle of Man, Jersey, and Guernsey are completely autonomous and are not part of the United Kingdom and are amongst a number of completely autonomous and self governing countries of the world including Greenland. Money made in Cornwall should stay in Cornwall instead of hemorrhaging outwards.

Attached are photographs from one of today's actions.
