Title Of World Haggis Eating Champion 2015 Goes To Scotland

The World Haggis Eating Championships 2015 have been held at the Birnam Highland Games in Birnam,(Scottish Gaelic: Braonan) which is in the central Scottish county of Perthshire (Scottish Gaelic:Siorrachd Pheairt). As reported in the Scotsman newspaper Scotsman Lee Goodfellow  set a new world record – after he ate a whole 1lb haggis in just 47 seconds. About 3,500 people turned up to watch the event on Saturday. Held annually the event had 20 competitors who did their best to devour Scotland's national dish in the fastest time. Lee obviously has a taste for haggis as he also won the title in 2011, 2012 and 2013, and regains  it having lost in 2014.
