Support Grows for Brittany Reunification Demonstration in Nantes on June 28th

The campaign for the reunification of Nantes and Loire Atlantique with the rest of Brittany continues to gain pace. The French establishment remains determined to keep the Loire Atlantique separated from other areas in Brittany. This separation was undertaken against the wishes of the Breton people in 1941 by the Vichy regime. With the regional reorganisation currently being discussed by the French government a golden opportunity to correct this wrong is being missed. It is very clear that if Brittany was reunited it would open up the possibility for economic growth, job creation and a better future for the people of Brittany.

The pressure remains on for reunification with actions taking place throughout Brittany. As part of this process there is a call for support for the demonstration being held on 28th June 2014 in Nantes at 14h in front of the prefecture.
