Some of 'the great and good' believe government has lost the plot!

In line with my ‘slack saturday’ strategy I’m about to settle comfortably when I find a message in my inbox. It points me towards an article on something called the SAVE CAMLORK pages which highlights a recent paper by several well known luminaries.

The item is highly critical - sceptical even - of the governments ‘Eastern Plan’ which is forensically analysed. I’m bound to say I’m sceptical also but my opposition is not based on logic or reason but more on the fact that the plan title sounds Stalinist and can one really believe that a modern equivalent (in construction terms) of ‘The White Sea Canal’ can be a success. Of course the sense of dread is compounded when you think this is being masterminded by such ‘political giants’ as Quayle, Cannan, Thomas and Boot.

It's interesting however that scepticism is surfacing amongst ‘the great and the good’ many of whom are ‘old boys and girls’ from the Chamber. I wonder what the current regime down at the ‘Chamber of Chancers’ make of the fact that even what to them are right thinking individuals now know the government has lost the plot.

Here’s the item:

There’s a pdf version of the critique here on the SAVE CAMLORK wordpress site:
