Gallarus Oratory - Séipéilín Ghallarais

Gallarus Oratory - Séipéilín Ghallarais is on the Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry, Ireland (Irish: Corca Dhuibhne, Contae Chiarraí, Éire). This site dates back to the eighth and possibly sixth century and is an expertly built stone structure using the architectural technique of corbeling in the shape of an upturned boat measuring fifteen feet by ten feet with a narrow door and small window. The site overlooks the Ard na Caithne harbour north of the R559 off a minor road from Emlagh East.
