Royal wedding musters little interest in North Wales or anywhere else for that matter

There has been a huge amount of British media publicity given to the forthcoming wedding of the grandson of the Queen of England. However the effort to engender a mood of patriotic fervour appears to have failed in  North Wales, where there seems to be a distinct lack of enthusiasm for the event. An example of this has been the lack of take-up for the idea of holding a royal wedding street party, where local residents organise an event held out of doors in a street or other public area. As reported in the Welsh newspaper the Daily Post, despite the application process being made easier ahead of the day, just five applications have been made. This also fits in with recent polling in areas outside of Wales, where a majority of people just don't care about the royal wedding. Leaving only the English media to make their cringe-worthy and inaccurate assertions that the event is any way important to the public.
