Brodick Castle

The history of this site can be traced back to the fifth century and the present structure dates to the early sixteenth century. The castle and gardens are now owned by the National Trust for Scotland and located just outside Brodick/Breadhaig. The Isle of Arran/Eilean Arran has rich history dating back to pre-history. Kildonan Castle

This castle is located in the village of Kildonan/Cill Donnain in the south of the Isle of Arran/Eilean Arran. The remains are of a thirteenth century castle built by the MacDonalds the Lords of the Isles. More on Kildonan Castle

Lochranza Castle

The remains of this tower house which was originally built in the thirteenth century and remodelled in the sixteenth century are located on a promontory at Lochranza/Loch Raonasa in the north of the Isle of Arran/Eilean Arran. More on Lochranza Castle
