Dunguaire Castle

This is an early sixteenth century tower house standing at about seventy-five feet in height with a large defensive wall.

Getting there

Going east from Ballyvaughan and The Burren. It is open to the public in the summertime and is located at the southern end of Galway Bay just to the north of Kinvarra close to the N67 in County Galway.
