Clochafarmore Standing Stone

This is a standing stone nearly three metres high.

The stone is associated with Cu Chulain the Irish hero of mythology, who was also for a time the lover of Fand the fairy queen and wife of Manx and Irish legend ManannĂ¡n mac Lir.

Getting there

There is a footpath to the stone which is southwest from Dundalk west of the M1 close to the village of Rathiddy to the south of the R171.
