Ramparts and Ditch between two streams; possibly designed to defend the western side of Lhergyrhenny. Could be Iron Age. More on Cleigh yn Arragh
A Celtic Iron Age hill fort in the north of the island. The site has dramatic views over the island's northern plain from its 250ft twin peaked position, but with difficult access due to a steep rocky side. Would have been a good defence and watch point. More on Cronk Sumark
This is a large unfinished rectangular fort with thick earthen walls and bastions on each corner. It was constructed in 1640 for the English Civil War. More on Kerroogarroo Fort
