Stranded Scottish Cadet Seamen Return Home

News from the Celtic League:

We highlighted the plight of the Scottish cadet officers who were stranded when the vast Korean Hanjin shipping corporation went into liquidation.

Their ship was eventually able to dock in Singapore so a happy ending for them (link);

However many Hanjin ships and crew are stranded globally and we have pressed the IMO to work with other agencies to address their plight and give them the same security the Scottish youngsters have achieved.
