Failure to support reunification of Brittany is absurd

The failure of l’Assemblée nationale in France to support the reunification of Brittany is a travesty. Despite the vote in the National Assembly it is clear that on every level the argument in favour of reunification was won. It could not be clearer that  Brittany reunified, representing 4.5 million people would increase its economic potential. In not supporting the reunification of Brittany an opportunity for potential growth, job creation and prosperity for the Breton people has been squandered. In deciding to follow an outdated aggressive centralising policy, a chance that would even have benefited the struggling French economy, has been lost to a foolish dogma.

However, the case for reunification has resonated throughout Brittany. It could not be clearer now who the friends of Brittany are. The French Parti socialiste has seriously failed Brittany and this will not be forgiven by the voters. The need for Breton reunification is clear and obviously correct. People of Brittany know this and the fight for reunification will continue to grow.
