ALBA: LEVEL OF ENGAGEMENT IN THE REFERENDUM IMPRESSIVE

Secretary of the Manx branch of the Celtic League, Roy Kennaugh, has written to Scotland ’s First Minister extending congratulations on her appointment.

The Manx Secretary says the level of engagement of the people of Scotland in the recent referendum was impressive.

The text of his letter is set out below:

“Dear First Minister,

Members of the Celtic League Mannin Branch send their congratulations on your recent appointment. We followed the Scottish Independence referendum with great interest and have been impressed by the level of engagement in the process by the people of Scotland .

We wish you well for the future and hope that the apparent groundswell towards independence and the increased membership of the SNP will enable you to achieve your main objective in the not too distant future.
